Little Miss Independent

We took dixie to a petting zoo/kids park this weekend, and she showed off her independent side in a big way. She decided that she ONLY wanted to walk around the park, the stroller was just not acceptable. Plus, she REFUSED to hold our hands while walking. Normally she happliy holds onto our hands for security, but this time she decided that she can walk just fine on her own, thank you very much! She also did not look back to see where we were the entire time. She just happliy walked infront of us, deciding on her own direction, and she could have cared less if we were behind her or not. This is a little bit scary to her mommy & daddy, as we know we're in for a really good (or bad) case of terrible 2's ahead! But, its also so cute to see her assert her independance.
