Dixie and the Farm Animals

In our never ending quest to potty train our firstborn, we have resorted to the age old strategy of bribery.  After months and months of exploding diapers, we have finally experienced a breakthrough.  You see, Dixie usually holds her poos in for several days at a time.  The consequence of her unwillingness to follow her parents' commands is that she experiences huge poos when she is at play and having too much fun to concentrate on holding her poos in.  This has interrupted and even cut short many a playtime.  However, there is light at the end of the tunnel.  The combination of her maturation mixed in with bribing her with small farm animal figurines for her barn (the barn was a $1 purchase at a local garage sale because it lacked any animals) has proven very fruitful.  Alas, one consequence is that Dixie is now trying to go number two 5-7 times a day.  The logic of our little girl tells her that if she can go #2 five times a day, she will get five farm animals.  We just hope all that pushing does not drive her blood pressure too high!
